Show us some love back! Subscribe to our newsletter and we’ll share insights, offers and more perks. Don’t worry, we don’t write very often: we have a no-spamming-people policy here. We’re busy, we know you are too.

If you’re a plant lover but also appreciate design and craftsmanship, Niwa-Y is for you.

A sculptural vertical garden with minimized complexity and maximized sustainability.

These are all the Niwa-Y pieces:

NiwaPot
NiwaFlat
NiwaPatio (1 NiwaPot + 2 NiwaFlat)

NiwaPark (2 NiwaPot + 3 NiwaFlat)
NiwaGarden (2 NiwaPot + 5 NiwaFlat)
NiwaMeadow (3 NiwaPot + 5 NiwaFlat)

Keeping it simple and honest

Yes, the bulk of us are very busy and sometimes wish all our tasks and chores got magically taken care of… but despite that, we still advocate for plant-caring as a form of unwinding. This, coupled with our long-term commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, pushed us to not include any watering gadgets here: there are no electronics, plastic or resin components in any parts of the final pieces. Thus, the graph just gets simpler and simpler:

Who is behind Niwa-Y? The same two that are behind Micromundo.

Ana: product designer, artist in her free time, detail freak, strategist, curious human, nature lover, worrier, amongst others.

Jimi: landscape architect, compulsive jig-maker, open source activist, massive geek, omni seed collector, nature lover, amongst others.

The wee pools of sea water full of life and colour, between the rocks, are the origin of our name and everything we’re about.
